Overview of Trip: A “bare boat” charter of two 40+ ft catamarans, piloted by professional skippers, will be our home for 7 days as we sail among the various islands of the B.V.I. We will prepare most of our meals ourselves aboard boat while sampling the local cuisine at selected restaurants along our route. Extensive snorkeling for all and opportunities to dive for those that are scuba certified.
Educational Focus: Learning how to sail, navigate, and scuba dive (optional). Marine biology/ecology. Caribbean culture.
Estimated Cost: $2800
What is included?: Everything except scuba diving and souvenirs
What else are students responsible for?: Those that want to dive must have a valid certification
What optional excursions might be available?: Scuba diving
Other costs?: Cost above should be enough to cover tips, restaurants, etc.
